We had lots of fun on our trip to Willows Farm. We saw the animals and fed some of them, we saw tiny lambs and newborn piglets. We held guinea pigs, watched a show and played in the Peter Rabbit playground. Many thanks to all the adults who kindly came with us.
This week we have read lots of stories. We had a shared reading session with year 3, had visits from surprise readers, dressed up as our favourite book characters and even made a witch’s brew following a recipe (Room on the Broom). Well done to Eddie Hall who won the Nursery dressing up competition as Mr Bump. All the children looked amazing – what a lot of fabulous costumes.
This week is book week! Please look at our book blog to see what is happening!
Have you got your costume ready for Thursday?
We had a super trip to the garage on New Road. We helped John and Mr Biscuits fix a car by raising it on the ramp and putting air in the tyres. We had a careful look down the pit and found our how cars are tested for their yearly MOT. Many thanks to all the parents who helped on the trip and a special thanks to the staff at the New Road Service Station for letting us visit.
